Heartbroken

My little boys are in separate cribs for the first time tonight. The first time since we left the hospital that they haven't slept together at night. The VERY first time. I can't believe it. How, why, did they grow so fast??? I love to see them getting bigger and developing. I love their unique personalities and quirks. I'm not ready for them to have their own cribs though!

I know it was time. Z-boy doesn't like blankets and usually kicks G-boy in the process of getting them off his legs. G wakes up and he is not happy about it. And G likes to scream himself to sleep. Which Z doesn't appreciate. As I'm sure none of us would either.

So sad. So very, very sad.

Angelic

No matter how hard a day or night has been, when I see this I can't help but forget all about it and fall in love all over again...

4 Months!

The boys are four months old today... I can't believe how fast time is going by. It feels like just yesterday M and I found out we were having twins. And now, here they are. Growing, changing, developing. I am amazed by these little boys.

This morning I tried rice cereal again. Only I mixed it with prunes. So far, so good. G hasn't had any (painful) gas yet. Which is already an improvment over last time.

Both boys seem to be on a teething frenzy. Their hands are almost constantly in their mouth (and occasionally each others!). The amount of drool they're producing is quite astounding. I'm still waiting, and checking every day, to see if any teeth have popped through. None yet though!

Who Knew?!

Z is not meant for socks. Or shoes. And now, my new discovery - 2 piece jammies.

Since Z was just a few weeks old he has despised socks and shoes. It takes every thing I've got to get socks on him, and then they get kicked off within minutes of landing on his feet. He will kick and fuss, and be just miserable until the socks are off. Well, this morning I unzipped his sleep sack and there are two bare little legs waving around. In the bottom of the sack, in a scrunched little ball are his jammie pants.

Tricky little boy!

Valentine Day Suprise

I just spent the most amazing weekend with M.

I truly have an amazing husband.

Hmm

Haven't been able to find that cable yet. And haven't really had time to look.

We have colds this week. All 3 of us. Z is pretty much over his with the occasional linger cough here and there, while G and I are still fighting ours. G is extremely congested and has a nasty cough to go with it. My poor babies.

In other news, they started eating solids this week! We have previously tried rice cereal with no success. It made two very constipated, unhappy, grouchy babies. I decided to skip the rice this time around and went directly to veggies. Which they love!!! They've had carrots, sweet potatoes and squash. Z loves carrots and sweet potatoes, but squash not so much. He'll eat it, but it takes a little more effort to get it down him as he would rather spit it all back out over his face. My little piggy G loves all 3 and gobbles it down as fast as I can feed it to him. G does have some problems eating off a spoon still. There is this thing... and its called a tongue... he has a habit of sucking his top lip and tongue, which he finds even more facinating to do while he's eating!

As for M - he is doing good. He has a pretty busy schedule during the week. This weekend marks the half way point of his training in Georgia! And we are over half way through this! I'm praying the next 8 weeks go by quickly.

We have also got an offer on our house in Florida. I sent all the paperwork requested by our realtor back to her this week. Fingers crossed every thing goes through and the closing is before March 31 as stated in the contract. M and I are both ready to have that whole ordeal behind us.

Rollin' Rollin'

G and Z are both rolling from their tummy to their back!!! Z started about a week ago, and G started today. I have a video of Z that will be posted as soon as I can find that sneaky cable which keeps running away. I'm so proud of my big boys!
